The PRESTO website will be unavailable from approximately 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8 to early morning on Monday, November 12 for testing. During this time, you’ll be able to use your card for travel as usual, but there may be delays in receiving transaction and trip information in your account.
We’re testing parts of our backup computer network to make sure it can support the PRESTO system effectively in the event of a technical issue with our main computer network. This type of testing is common and a best practice in the information technology industry.
If you normally use the website to load funds or passes, make sure you do so before November 6 to ensure you have enough funds to travel. You can also set-up Autoload to make sure you always have funds on your card. During the test you can load your card in person at a Customer Service Outlet, at select Shoppers Drug Mart locations, at PRESTO Self-Serve Reload Machines, at Fare Vending Machines at TTC Stations, or at select Ticket Vending Machines at some GO and UP Express stations.
