The PRESTO App, website, and automated phone system will be unavailable from approximately 11:00 pm on Friday, February 10 until approximately 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 11 for an update.  

  • During this time, customers can pay their transit fare as usual with a PRESTO card or tapping a credit card, including on a smartphone or watch (if available on your local transit agency) on a PRESTO device.

  • Fare payments will be processed as usual and PRESTO devices will display accurate fare and balance information; however, you may experience brief delays in transaction information appearing in their online account.

  • This is part of a series of updates we’re making in order to continue to provide you with the best PRESTO experience.

If you normally use the PRESTO App or website to load funds on your card, make sure you do so before the update so you can travel easily and seamlessly with PRESTO.

  • For even easier loading, you can set up Autoload or Autorenew to make sure your PRESTO card is automatically loaded with funds or passes

  • If you need to add funds to your PRESTO card during the update you can do so in person at a Shoppers Drug Mart location, Customer Service Outlet, at PRESTO Self-Serve Reload Machines or at select Ticket Vending Machines at some GO and UP Express stations.
