Learn how to set up your card and create a My PRESTO Account so you can begin travelling with PRESTO.
You should only purchase PRESTO cards and load funds or passes through authorized sales channels, which include prestocard.ca, Fare Vending Machines, Self-Serve Reload Machines, and our Customer Service Outlets. Never purchase a card or try to load funds and passes through an unauthorized seller.
Online: Order a Card Online your card will be mailed to you in 7-10 business days. You can then choose to create a My PRESTO Account or remain without an account.
Buy in person: Purchase your card in-person at any Customer Service Outlet, or at a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or a Fare Vending Machine (FVM). Your card is ready to use immediately, and your My PRESTO Account can be created online within 24 hours.
If this is a replacement card, please do not register it, as this is done automatically as part of the card replacement process.

If your card is lost or stolen, you can block it and transfer your funds to a replacement card.
When your card balance falls below the minimum balance that you set, it will automatically add the amount of funds you've chosen. Set up Autoload now.
Your selected transit passes will be added automatically to your card. Set up Autorenew now.
You can review and keep track of your travels by accessing your transaction history. Eligible seniors can download a Transit Usage Report to assist with calculating your Ontario Seniors’ Public Transit Tax Credit for income tax purposes.
If you ordered a card through your My PRESTO Account online you will need to activate it before you travel. You can activate your card online or by calling PRESTO at 1-877-378-6123 and follow the automated instructions.
