There are many benefits with creating a PRESTO account and registering your PRESTO card, which include:

Your primary PRESTO card is the first card that appears when you sign into your PRESTO accountIf you want to change your primary PRESTO card, sign into your PRESTO account, and visit the Manage My Cards page.

Your Contact Centre PIN is used for account verification purposes and may be required when calling the PRESTO Contact CentreIf you’ve forgotten your Contact Center PIN, you can reset it by signing into your account, navigating to "Manage My Cards," selecting the card you wish to change, and then choosing the "Change PIN" option

You can add up to 10 cards (these include physical PRESTO cards, contactless credit, and Interac debit) to your account To add a new PRESTO card to your account:
1Sign into your PRESTO account on the website or app 2On the PRESTO website under “My Products”, select "Add Card"If you're using the PRESTO app, select the 'Add Card' option on the dashboard page. 3Enter the Card Number and 3-digit verification number found on the back of the card and click ‘Next.’ 4Create a 4-digit PIN and nickname for your card and click ‘Next.’ 5Verify the information and click 'Add Card'. 6You're done!
To add a new contactless credit card to your account:
1Sign into your PRESTO account on the website or app 2On the PRESTO website under “My Products”, select "Add Card"If you're using the PRESTO app, select the 'Add Card' option on the dashboard page 3Enter your credit card details 4Create a nickname for your card and click ‘Next. 5’You're done!
To add a new contactless Interac debit card (not available for Interac debit cards in mobile wallets) to your account:
1Sign into your PRESTO account on the website or app 2On the PRESTO website under “My Products”, select "Add Card" If you're using the PRESTO app, select the 'Add Card' option on the dashboard page 3Enter your debit card details and the Confirmation ID, which can be found in your bank statementThe Confirmation ID must be from a transaction made within the last 6 months using your physical debit cardThe Confirmation ID will be in the following format: PRES/A1B2C3D4E5. 4Create a nickname for your card and click ‘Next.’ 5You're done!

You can only get a refund on your card balance if your card is registered to a PRESTO accountYou can complete our Refund Form and mail the form and your physical PRESTO Card to the following address:
PRESTO Card Refund c/o PRESTO Finance Back Office 20 Bay Street, Suite 600 Toronto, ON M5J 2W3
A cheque or e-transfer will be sent to you approximately 4-6 weeks after we receive your Refund Form and PRESTO card
A processing fee of 4% of your card balance will be deducted from your refund amountThe $4 cost to buy a PRESTO card is non-refundable
Remember to include your physical PRESTO card when sending us the formWe can only refund your card balance if you send the card to us
GO Transit does not provide refunds in-person at our stationsHowever, some local transit agencies will provide PRESTO card refunds in person if the balance on your card is less than $50Check with your local transit agency and if an in-person option is available, you may complete "Form B (station)" and bring the form along with your PRESTO card to your transit agency’s Customer Service Outleta
