We’re offering more options to pay your fare on transit. With PRESTO in Apple Wallet, you can now tap your iPhone or Apple Watch to pay for your ride.
PRESTO in Apple Wallet can be used on GO Transit, UP Express, Brampton Transit, Burlington Transit, Durham Region Transit, Hamilton Street Railway, MiWay (in Mississauga), Oakville Transit, TTC and York Region Transit.
Discover some key features of PRESTO in Apple Wallet:
- With Express Mode, you don’t need to wake or unlock your iPhone or Apple Watch or open any apps to use your PRESTO in Apple Wallet. Just hold your device near the reader to pay and go.
- Your PRESTO in Apple Wallet works even when your iPhone needs a charge. Power Reserve provides up to five hours of support, so you can still ride on transit.
- Easily reload your PRESTO card on your iPhone and Apple Watch, right from Apple Wallet. Just tap Add Money and follow the steps.
- Take advantage of the privacy and security features built into iPhone and Apple Watch. If you misplace your iPhone or Apple Watch, use the Find My app to lock and help locate the device and suspend your PRESTO card or remotely erase the device and its cards.
To convert your physical PRESTO card to PRESTO in Apple Wallet, you must register your card to a PRESTO account. All existing card details will be transferred except your transaction history. Download your history before conversion. Your physical PRESTO card will no longer work once it's converted.
